Many people struggle with comparison, covetousness, and complaining.
That said, the Apostle Paul was different! He was content in plenty and in want. What was his secret, and how do we cultivate that in our lives? In Contentment, Bible teacher Melissa Kruger considers what it really means to be content: to place our trust in our good and sovereign God. God’s love for His people is unchanging, and He is using every detail of our lives to shape and fashion us into the image of Jesus Christ. As we look back to the cross of Christ and look forward to the hope of heaven, we will discover that ultimate contentment is found in Him.

Philippians 4:11–13
Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
