In this sermon, Pastor Matt Jones examines the history of the protestant Reformation while unpacking the book of Romans as a critical text to this historic movement. We consider the parallels of the life of the Apostle Paul and the great Reformer Martin Luther, as both men were given to religion and as a result were desperately lost. However, God in His grace saved both men and used them mightily to proclaim the gospel of the Righteous Father God who imputes the righteousness of His Son, Jesus, to wayward sinners. We examine the doctrine of justification and the marvel at the grace of God in this sermon as we seek to be discipled by the word of God.
