Toys and Candy:

Please do not allow your child to bring these items to school. They are frequently the cause of conflict and jealousy among young children. Also, items from home when lost or broken can cause much grief to their owner. We will inform you of a time when it is appropriate to bring in objects in order to share during a structured time. At no time are children to bring guns to school, not even toy guns.

Sign-In and Sign-Out:

All parents, or other authorized persons, are required by state law to accompany their children into the center and pick them up from the premises.  Please drop your child off with a staff member and be sure that a staff member is aware of you picking up your child for the day. It is state law that your child is signed in and out each day. This must be done with your full name and legal signature (no initials).

Authorization and Pick-Up of your child:

Only persons with original authorization from the parents may pick up your child. This is for your child's protection. DRCCC and its staff will not release a child to anyone without proper authorization. To add or delete a person on your authorization form (received upon registration and kept in your child's file), you must notify the Director in person. Phone calls, faxes, and e-mails WILL NOT be accepted. Any authorized person must be able to verify their identification (i.e. valid driver's license)  with a staff member before the child will be released to them. Please keep all contact information current in case of an emergency.
