Kids Church
Children are a precious gift and blessing to us from God. At Del Rey Church, we welcome children of all ages, and seek to love and teach them the love of Jesus in a nurturing, safe environment.
In our Kids Church program, ages 3 through 12, we have the classes divided into age-appropriate group that consist of worship, prayer, Bible story, and crafts.
Parents will be happy to know that we have a special alert system located at the front of the church so that if your child needs you during the service, you will be immediately notified. Our teachers will familiarize you with the system.
The goals of Del Rey Kids Chuch are:
- To help the children enter into a transforming personal relationship with Jesus Christ through head knowledge (Bible curriculum and memory verses), as well as heart knowledge (worship and prayer).
- To actively demonstrate, through each teacher, the love of Christ to the children.
Kids Church Classes:
Nursery: In our Baby Church program, ages infant through two-years-old are cared for Sunday mornings in the church nursery at the south end of Fellowship Hall. A short, simple Bible story is presented as well as a short time of worship.
Preschool: 3 to 4-year-old, in the Duckie Classroom, Fellowship Hall south end.
Early Elementary: K-1st grades, Timothy Hall, upstairs south.
Elementary: 2nd-3rd grades, Timothy Hall, upstairs west.
Upper Elementary: 4th-5th grades, Timothy Hall, upstairs north.
Junior High: 6-8th grades, Timothy Hall, downstairs, Youth Room.
We share the love of Jesus with our children through these children’s programs. We invite you to visit our facilities and meet our teachers!
Time: Kids Church starts at 10:00am on Sunday and ends at 12:00pm.
