We decided to have a "Car Wash Fundraiser" to help the kids raise money for "Winter Camp" at Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp (near Big Bear) this January. This was my first fundraiser with Del Rey Church.
 
It was a tough job. We planned on going from 9:30am- 12:30pm. The cars just kept coming and coming until the last car, my car, (Praise God!) was done. We ended at about 2pm. I am really proud of the kids. They really hung in there and didn't complain about going 4 & 1/2 hours straight. I don't think that anyone had the opportunity to count how many cars actually showed up.
 
When it was all said and done, we ended up raising $517! It was well worth all the hard work. Thank you to all of our customers, especially those who helped us wash/dry. I thank the kids and the leaders for making this event a success!
